Frontline's 23 Year History
Founded in 2003, Frontline Pest Control began with a simple mission: provide exceptional pest control service while building a company that puts people first. Founders Darren Kirkham and Darren Wright started as a two-person operation, personally handling every aspect of the business—from door-to-door sales and customer service to pest control treatments and day-to-day operations.
As the company grew, Regan Wright joined the leadership team, helping shape Frontline's culture and long-term vision. Jason Pickett later joined the organization, bringing operational and financial leadership that supported the company's continued expansion and success.
In 2008, the ownership team discovered an affinity for the DC Metropolitan Area, recognizing it as a market worthy of permanent investment. This strategic pivot led them to divest their existing multi-state operations and concentrate on establishing more offices in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, and now Tennessee. Over the past 23 years, Frontline Pest Control has grown from a small entrepreneurial venture into one of the fastest-growing pest management companies in the Mid-Atlantic region with people at its core. Today, Frontline serves more than 70,000 customers, employs nearly 200 full-time team members, and operates multiple locations throughout its service territory.

Darren Kirkham is the co-founder of Frontline Pest Control and has helped lead the company since its founding in 2003. Starting with door-to-door sales and hands-on pest control service, Darren played a key role in building Frontline into one of the nation's leading regional pest control companies, serving customers across Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, and Tennessee.
Today, Darren helps guide Frontline's long-term vision and strategic direction alongside the executive leadership team. His leadership philosophy is centered on exceptional customer service, investing in people, and building an organization rooted in integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement. Under his leadership, Frontline has grown from a two-person operation into an award-winning pest control company serving tens of thousands of homeowners each year.
